The best move EITHER party could make is to push a non-career politician through as their Presidential candidate.

Part of me likes DeSantis because he has a lot of the qualities of Trump only without all the baggage but the other part of me thinks that most of that baggage was not Trump's fault. Remember not that long ago nobody thought Trump was stupid, racist, Xenophobic, homophobic, etc. It wasn't until he became a likely candidate did all that baggage get piled on, almost overnight.
