Can't tell you when the last time I really listened to NPR. The bits I see & hear now sounds like a simulcast of MSNBC
As a long time listener and viewer of both, I can verify that during their pledge drives, they ALWAYS go on and on about how they are "member supported" and that contributions carry the lion share of their budget and how tax dollars "only account for a small percentage" of their funding. And, being that's the case, I say shit can ALL tax paying funds to both!
