That's a great interview. I haven't subscribed to the Tucker Carlson Network but interviews like that make it very enticing.

If you look at any dictatorship in history the leaders will always designate (or manufacture) an external and/or internal enemy in order to solidify popular support and to keep the citizens focused and supporting the Gov. This enemy is always to blame for the country’s problems and defeating this ‘enemy’ requires the citizens to make sacrifices in the name of the ‘righteous struggle’. This distraction keeps the citizens from realizing that their issues are likely caused by their own Gov.
