Rancho lift?

This right here. : )
Matt

Sure did. Only had to unbolt the bottom bolts. And spin them around. I have the rear set at 5 and the front at 4. I'm still trying to find that sweet spot. I does make it more difficult to adjust though.

I have a Rancho sport suspension lift and have changed out every component but the coils. The coil ride is pretty soft. The 9000 shocks looked horrible on mine after a year due to rust. The drop bracket included with my lift for the track bar broke my factory mount location at the weld. I would have saved my money for a higher quality lift if I was to do it again.

See below.

The 9000 shocks looked horrible on mine after a year due to rust.Did you hit them with a clear coat, by chance? This helps a lot The drop bracket included with my lift for the track bar broke my factory mount location at the weld. How old is this system? Did you call our Customer Service line, by chance? 734-384-7804 I would have saved my money for a higher quality lift if I was to do it again.

I'm bias. :) Pair it with the 9000's and have fun!!

Hey Rancho, I'm really interested in your 9000 series shocks to help smooth out my ride and I noticed that Quadratec has 9000 pro shocks with a reservoir. I was wondering how these would compare to the 9000xl's? I really like the look of the reservoir style of shocks.

All of our systems are Made in the USA.
Most of our systems are up gradable ( add control arms down the road if you want, etc)
Lifetime warranty on our systems. Save that receipt.
We have been in the Jeep game, since the early 50's.

How can you offer a lifetime warranty when you stop keeping parts for your lifts such as the tri-Iink JK long arm kit?

They perform better off-road because of the reservoir. If they have them they should be a great deal honestly.

What part from the old system? Let me know.

The rear mount that connects the tri-link to the rear of the frame behind the bumper.

When I called I was told the lift had been discontinued and parts were no longer available.

I asked if there was a upgrade path since the rear portion of the kit had since been redesigned. I was told I would have to purchase the entire new long arm kit in order to fix the issue with my rear end.

I have an e-mail in on this.
What happened to that piece by chance?

I was wondering if I bought the rancho rs66108br9 for my 2010 jk 2dr if I would need to make any more modifications. It's a daily driver and I don't have anywhere to really take it off road right now except for occasional dirt roads, thanks

For what its worth - I have had no luck with my Rancho 3 inch trail kit. After about a year the RS9000 shock piston came out of the cylinder all together. The front upper control arms have squeeked since the first time I hit the dirt. I emailed in from the website and never got a response. :naw:

Last week I also noticed my Rear upper jam nut has come loose and wont stay tightened.

Nothing else needed on the 2" SPORT system.

Shocks are covered by our lifetime warranty. Have your receipt?
Did you call our Tech line by chance?

In regards to the jam nuts. I suggest looking at them for ANY company every few 1000 miles and Loktite. Especially after installing them. Use a paint pen. Keep an eye on them.
I was in Moab last week and was doing a shock install on a few JK's and noticed loose jam nuts on a couple of JK's.

No receipt and shocks are long gone in the trash.

Tried locktite - they still wont stay tight

When i talked to the Rancho Booth at the off road expo in california last year they recommended I email in. Which I did. Never got a response.

Receipts are long gone as well. Chances are i will just deal with replacing the controls arms.

I am sure others have had better experiences. Mine has just been unfortunate.

The bolt holes on one of the bushing mounts enlarged over time causing a misalignment of the tri-link at the axle. It was twisting just enough to make the rear end unstable on the road.

Thanks for this added info. I will ask my engineers what their thoughts are on a solution. Give me a bit.

Does that mean you're not making them anymore? I didn't see them on your website.

We still have them in the market but don't make them.

Should be good. We use this same P/N (in the RS5000 and 9000) for the front in our 2" SPORT system.

Hey Matt

I just ordered the RS5000 shocks for my front I ordered the 0" to 2" am I ok with this if i am running a 2.5" spacer lift???
