Can't a answer all your questions except you don't want an outer axle seal. If you've got a leak from your internal seals you want to know right away. The outer seal will hide the leak until it's too late
ARB makes 2 different lockers for the Dana 44 & ProRock 44. The locker that fits in the stock Dana 44 housing is a little smaller & weaker than the locker that would be used in the ProRock.
If you have a ARB locker in the stock housing it can only be used in a different version of the ProRock housing.
Let's say you bought a PR 44 housing and wanted to use your internals with OEM E-locker. You can do this but, with this PR housing you can't upgrade and use the slightly better ARB locker that would have been used in a built PR. You can only use the ARB locker that fits in a stock Dana 44.
So I've been searching around on the Dynatrac website and its saying that i cant adjust caster with lower control arms. Is this true? I am opting for the extreme and unlimited version of the housing and this has the built in 6 degree caster. and if so is there an upper control arm i can pair with the EVO Enforcer lower control arm? i decided that im switching suspension out from AEV to EVO enforcer because i wanted the plush rides and needed the lower control arms and with all that im close to the price of a full enforcer with no shocks. as for shocks will i be fine running my current bilsteins with 3" of lift? I have AEV 3.5" lift
"Can't"? I don't know if I would say that but typically, lowers are used to position your axle and uppers are used to set your caster. When working on a small lift and on a budget, adjusting your lowers alone to be longer will change your caster.
Oh I was mistaken that lowers set caster.
So what upper control arm will be a good pair with the EVO lowers? I'd like to stay with Johnny joints if I can And I will use the upper to set pinion angle to around 4 degrees right?
Well, like I said, you can make it work with a smaller lift, it's just not what they were really intended for.
I would recommend a set of Currie uppers.
