Precautions for welding on Jeep?

Maybe a dumb question, but I’m going to weld on the frame and rear bumper of my ‘12 JK and wondering…
Is there is anything I should do as a precaution to protect the Jeep’s electrical components? Thanks!

Disconnect the battery.

This^^^ Also if you can keep your ground as close to the area that your welding on. If you ground to the front bumper and weld on the rear that current can still travel through everything in between.

From working and welding on sensitive machines for work.

Disconnect power source(s), ground at the work site, if possible disconnect really sensitive equipment.

It's best for the equipment (Jeep) if you ground to the part being welded TO the Jeep. May make tack up a bitch, but after the first couple of tacks it will be better.
