4 looks alright. You can start with that then trim to the 3 if you do not like. If you cut too short they are a bitch to stretch back. I still like the Cali Cut as my personal favorite.

I vote 3. Mine are cut very similar to Moby/rubicat and the like. No issues at all with wind.

On my '08 JK with flares cut like #3 any flapping was barely noticeable at highway speeds.
