PLEASE HELP - advice needed - PSC flares issues

In the OP's defense if I would have bought expensive flares I would want them to last. On the other hand I would just cut my stockers and be done with it...because I'm a tight ass.

I don't know why everyone is telling him how to do this himself. That should be plan C.

Plan A would be to get the shop to fix their mistake.

Plan B would be to get a refund and go to another shop to get it done right.

Yes, that would make sense to do that in the first place, and for you to also read his first post as well.

while I am not going to give you advise on how to fix the issue, I see that many have given you sound advice. I will however point out that this in no way is a Poison Spyder issue as their products are of the highest quality (we use the ALL of the time with NO issues). This is simply a geographical / prep / execution issue and seems to be fairly simple to correct.

Agreed.

Another option, move the fuck out of the rust belt.

One of the several reasons I moved!

Is this a show jeep? What are your plans when they get scratched up from off roading? This just seems like a lot of money you have already wasted and probably going to waste more.

HUH? Why does this matter - is it a show jeep?

No but if it was I still dont want rust on my $1100 flares. Second, I do wheel it - i didnt realize that there was disclaimer to not buy PSC flares if you wheel unless you want to "waste" money.

Ignorance is a mean disease.

My point is there is things like scratches, even rock chips underneath from daily driving that are going to cause rusting. Not my money, but 1100 bucks and counting seems like a waste on trying to keep these fenders pristine.

To the few guys that focussed on the question, understood that I didn't do any of the work and was just looking for advice...and offered sound advice based on experience or knowledge, THANK YOU.

Calm down. He didn't mean it in a negative way. Don't take shit so personal, this is the internet. Welcome.

It's ignorant you even think it's a PSC problem !!!

I hoping to get some direction/advice/etc...

.

Thanks

Bobby

We all know that it's coming from that gap..
IMHO the only way to stop it is to fill that gap with something. Welding it would take forever.. I have used caulking before with good results. It's just the bottom of the fender anyway. Being that it's under the fender and out of view, I'd throw caulk in the crack, and shoot some paint over the top. Done.

Poison spyder has videos about their spydershell process. They use some type of silicone looking gel in any area where two pieces join and leave any opening. I had all of my parts spydershell coated after seeing the videos of their process. It was cheaper than taking them to a painter anyway.

Update: Oops. I didn't catch how old this post was. Ugh. Sorry. I'll go fall down my stairs now.
