Negative. They built them using the front of a 2500 and the rear of a 1500 that they modified to handle more weight and for towing.

Correct on the front, but the rear is an eight lug semi-float 14 bolt from the 1500HD. The H2 is basically a short wheelbase 3/4 suburban. Escalades are on a 1/2 ton chassis.
Correct but the frame is from a 1500. I was not discussing axles.
Edit: the rear of the frame. The front is from a 2500.
