pinch seam trim

Question for those running EVO Sliders. Resurrecting this thread as my question isn't really addressed in anything I searched. The wife has demanded I do something with the EVO sliders sitting in the garage. So they are currently at powder and will be getting burned on shortly after. Question is this:

In prep for future mods, do I need/have to trim my rear pinch seam BEFORE my sliders are installed? Or will I still have plenty of access to the area and can get the sliders welded on first? Then trim pinch once I'm ready for lift and 37s. If it matters, my sliders are with the custom step angle.

Thanks for any help. :thumb:

you will have plenty of access to be able to trim them. i have yet to thrim mine and already have my sliders burned on. it will be an easy job when the time comes
