Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

Not trying to fat shame anyone but it really drives me nuts when a couple or worse, a family of really wide people feel the need to waddle side by side at a store while staring at their phones and effectively blocking anyone and everyone from getting by them. Even in a place like Costco of which has really wide isles, they can still be an impassible wall

Especially on costco feeding day. Ugh

Okay, here's another one - TRAFFIC CIRCLES!! I really HATE them and more for the people who use them than anything. I get there are countries around the world that use them but here in America, most people just don't have a clue. More times than not, I see people just stopped at the edge of them not knowing if they should go or wait or who knows what. Or, there are the other ass clowns that just drive out in front of you as you make your way around and almost killing you. I mean, is coming to a complete stop at a 4-way intersection really that terrible?

But they're supposed to be safer and make traffic flow more smoothly...🙄

They started spreading around the country with Obama under some misguided attempt to ease traffic flow or some bull crap. Wash DC has huge ones with many multiple lanes of traffic and exits it’s wild.

On this note, whatever happened to people being nice to other people and sliding out of the way? It amazes me how people younger than me look at me like I need to move.

There are a bunch of these in central Arizona. They are cheaper to operate than street lights, and it is said that there are fewer fatalities due to collisions (but probably many more collisions). But many drivers do poorly in them.

Upon our last return to Payson (and 400 miles almost continual driving without mishap), there was a simple right turn at a traffic circle toward freedom, and I did come to a complete stop. The problem was that the drivers from the dominant entrance (Phoenix side) were railroading the traffic circle by driving only 2 or 3 feet apart at speed. There was no respect for the needs of other entrances. The wife said that I should have entered the traffic circle since they should not impact me given right of way, but there was no way I could even enter due the closely packed tailgaters.

Traffic circles work if drivers have respect for the needs of others but they don't work if fair access is not even allowed.

Dipshit contractors that don’t show up when they say they will and want to show up when it’s inconvenient for me to fix something they fucked up on.

This HVAC company installed a system during the building of this house and there has been a terrible whistle for over a year on the return duct and I’ve been trying to get them to come out and trouble shoot it since the house turned over to the owners. They initially came out to just cut a hole into the mech room air duct to relieve the pressure so the whistling stopped but to get a full fix has been a pain in the ass
