Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

People who come to your house to visit or whatever and park in your driveway, thereby either trapping in your car or stopping you from parking in your own space.

Park on the fucking street people!

What's even worse is as a guest you park on the street being polite so you don't block them in and they say next time feel free to park in the driveway. Next time rolls around and you park in the driveway and they ask you to move your car so they can park or get out. Had I parked on the street like I was planning I wouldn't have to move for you.

Is there a single company left that sells products in stores and includes decent quality hardware?! At least if they're going to include shitty hardware, add a disclaimer to the instructions:

Step 4: Do not use our shitty over priced hardware. Instead, go straight to your own garage and get your own 3 inch deck screws to install this cheap ass curtain rod in your kid's room. Note that deck screws are not included with our products.
And yet I have a bunch of small baggies of cheap hardware and shitty drywall anchors in my hardware drawer because after using my own I still can't throw them away...haha. I also have a pile of the cheap hex keys in my tool box that included with some flat packed, assembly required, furniture.

Guilty as well.... even tho I have several great sets of hex keys, I still hang on to the ones included with the furniture or whatever [emoji23]

I like to park in the front yard so I never block anyone in, and I can get some flexing in at my sister’s on the rock border for her garden [emoji23][emoji23]

i hate when you are scrolling through the wanted add and people post shit up for sale, kinda like a meme thread full of comments instead of memes.

Morons that cut in front of you and then park at the diesel pump, which there is only one if, and then go inside to grab a drink while fueling up on gas. The rest of the gas station is wide open, Pick a different pump!

I’ve probably said this before, but “loose” and “lose” are two totally different words. Stop blaming your absence of intelligence on autocorrect.

This...

When you're hauling a huge fifth-wheel & trying to not block the whole station while waiting for the diesel island to open up and someone zips right in front of you in a honda civic that could have gone to a different island.

Getting a few blocks away from home and start doubting myself if I closed the garage door or not.

I used to do that of that all the time. I out a chamberlain garage door in that has an app that tells you if the door is open or closed and you can close it from your phone mikes away when you think of it. Also works well when the kids leave it open. You can set an alarm on it if it’s left open a certain amount of time and it will alert you on your phone.

After posting I thought maybe somebody would come back with some tech. Thanks I'll check it out.

Their, there, they're

Your, you're

Proper grammar is NOT overrated, it's expected, especially in published form. It's one thing if you're texting your buddy, but It drives me bonkers when I read an article and there are numerous grammatical errors in it.

Having a wife that is an English writing professor, we can’t get away with any of that crap at home. The word good has been banned in our house! Apparently we don’t speak good enough to use it anymore [emoji848]
