Paracord everything!

There is a guy on Facebook that makes all sorts of paracord grab handles and key chains and whatever. Has a small website called "Gripcords.com". Or look up gripcords on Facebook. Little pricey but made really good.

Key chain I made with leftover 550 with a lanyard knot end

I also keep a paracord monkeys fist with 550 and a 1" steel ball in the console.

3' long when extended.

It could be used for self defense. With the steel ball at the end it packs quite the impact when swung. I got it just because I wanted one, and thought it was pretty slick.

I use 550 cord for everything. It's very useful around the house plus the pleasure of making your own things. Camping survival dot com had pretty good deals on spools of 1000' . If you look closely on the jeep pic you can see the grab handles made with d rings. He'll I've even replaced my boot laces with the stuff. Dog collars. Leashes, belts, gun slings, the stuff is awesome.

If anybody is interested in a set of grab handles I made, shoot me a PM. I got a set of trek armor grab handles for Christmas that replaced these. Don't mean to hijack this thread or upset anybody

Thanks,
Sean

Decided to wrap the OH SHIT! Grab bar. Also made a couple bracelets and a key chain tonight. This was my first attempt and making anything out of paracord. I think it came out pretty well. I had seen some insane intricate Turk knot wraps that would look awesome but I don't have the skills yet so I stuck with cobra knots.

Used a simple wrap for my cage handles, and prolly should have looked around for a better way to do it. Used a handle DIY I found online where you basically just pull the cord back into itself. Need to learn more since I wanna wrap a few more things.

Looks good. I can help ya with some wraps if you'd like. Basic boy scout stuff... But check out tyingitalltogether in YouTube. Has pretty good instructables that helped me with a few things.

You could probably tie a simple cobra knot or even a king cobra knot with the handle in the middle of the knot. The king cobra is what used in most of the grab handles. Basically you tie the cobra all the way down, then you tie it again making the bar larger.

Is it possible for some more info on wrapping the front passenger grab bar? That looks awesome! Any videos or anything like that? How much paracord was used?
