ORANGE CRUSH - The MOPAR SKUNKWERKS 2-Door JK that Started it All

Amazing how much has changed in 11 years since JK first introduced.
But that crush is still a classic. Seems like some of these newer concepts on the other thread are "bling heavy".

Glad to see that so many of you like the Jeep. I figured there might be more than a few of you who haven't seen it before.

Went digging through our 2007 Moab EJS archives and found a few more shots of Orange Crush and at dusk to shows it's way cool indicator/parking lights integrated into the headlights. Check it out.

Of course, Mark Allen, the senior designer for Jeep let Cindy and I take it out for a spin too.

While we were there, we also got a chance to take the JT pickup truck that they brought to Moab out for a spin as well.

...And, later on, we trimmed VENGEANCE's front clip to allow for greater tire clearance - just like the Orange Crush.

VENGEANCE really is one of a kind. It's still my favorite two door build. The story behind it makes it that much better too. 👍

Thanks for sharing, good to see where it started. I wish they would have stuck with those headlights with the integrated turn signals.

Yeah, the more I look at these headlights, the more I wish they would have made them.

The new LED headlights that come on the 2017 JK have a similar feature on the bottom of the lights but they kinda look funny to me by comparison.

The Orange Crush looks fantastic! And that is really awesome you can Cindy got to take it out for a spin as well.

This thread really makes me want a 2 door. :yup:

Those headlights are great looking, with they would have made it out in production form. I changed my turn signal bulbs to led after having three stock bulbs shatter in the housing from water infiltration. Those D rings though! They look so smooth laying there compared to the normal ones.
