I have been away from the Jeep scene for close to 30 years, but not away from the black vehicle scene...







No red wheels for this one.


Now that I'm coming back to a Jeep (CJ5) I was planing on going the military route with a M38A1~ish look, but I suppose there always the old standby black rig with red steelies...

Yes, one of my 2 previous CJ5s was black.

Is that a Marauder? I had a buddy who had one he dumped like 20k into. It was wicked fast.
 
Yes it's an 03 Marauder. I was fixing to dump money into mine, but haven't had a 4x4 in a while, so I put money down on a CJ5. I'll just drive the Marauder stock. Still pretty fast, handles good, and is comfy as hell. Need a 4x4 for an Alaska trip we are planing for 2019.
