I worked with a church that had a feeding ministry for awhile, primarily for homeless. We had a guy show up to help from an international ministry group. He was from somewhere in Africa. After day one here in America, he asked "Why are all of your homeless people fat?" I'll never forget that. Talk about perspective. Makes you think.

Hell even in the 90’s. I remember going to summer camp and there was a pond that everyone was told and said was quicksand. Everyone in town knew about it. Looking back, it was literally a pond with just a bunch of sledge on the bottom.
