OG past builds

I was building & driving a Gladiator before they were called a Gladiator. 1974 International Scout ll. A young country boy designing & fabricating my own upgrades. Spring over axle conversion, separating the Dana 20 transfer case from the transmission, Advance adapter to add front joint yoke. Built my own center frame mount for the relocated transfer case. Installed a 1ton T-18 granny gear 4spd. New short shaft to transfer case. New front and rear driveshafts. 38.5 Groundhogs. Lots of fun @ the mud bogs. Yes I made design mistakes ( incorrect positive caster was a scary moment on the test run). Back to the drawing board. What fun it was.
Here a similar one of what I had built

Damn, that is awesome (y)
Sometimes you have to find solutions for problems that are within the budget. With the 38.5” hogs I lost gearing but the granny gear 4 spd killed 2 birds with 1 stone. Gave me back drivability off the line and a yoke to install a short shaft to my relocation of the Dana 20 transfer case. Wasn’t top dog at the mud bogs but my ride was a unique one and crowd loved it back in the early 80’s
