Got a little more done the last couple days. Lots and lots of sanding. Then was able to put some primer on it. Then since I was missing the front of the bed, I made a section out of a old cabinet and welded it in. Also my other rim showed up so mounted that tire yesterday. Now I just need to prep the tailgate.
My other parts should be here beginning of the week some time.

Got the tailgate prepped and primed. Got new pins for the tailgate and just like that I have a fully functional trailer bed! I’ll most likely do a different pin style but for now this works.
My shop air compressor shut off and wouldn’t kick back on. So I should probably address that at some point.

I don’t sit still very well so... I started mapping out the frame work for the trailer. Just to start getting an idea of measurements.

Started on the frame work today.
Also picked up the steel for the rack the RTT will mount to.

Pulled a bumper off a old truck bed trailer, we have sitting on the back of the property. Should work well on this trailer.

Parts showed up!! Had to start seeing where ride height would be. I’m going to bring it up two more inches.

Got a little mor done this evening. Squeezed the frame rails in and mocked up the hitch and bed. Now to add the final supports and get the suspension in.
