Ocean City Jeep Week MD

so on a serious note. I haven't been to O.C. for a few years. I will have the girlfriend, her daughter and one of her friends with me.

if they aren't down for the camping. Where is a good place to stay? don't really want the Ritz, but it can't be a roach motel either.
I plan on being down there a few days before the jeep weekend, do the family thing then break-in the lift and tires:rock:

I'm pushing to camp, but I need a back up plan incase they poopoo on the idea.

The francis scott key is a pretty nice place. Its in the area known as berlin, same as frontier town. I am a leaner towards staying outside of ocean city if at all possible durring the summer.

it would be like my 20's and early 30's. just pitch a tent wherever I get drunk.

Pitch a tent huh?

I love how I get volunteered to host everyone lol I will see what I can do! At most I might be able to get 5 people who can chill but I will let you know

So who all is going to register for the beach crawl? I'd love to see how many WAYALIFE windshield banners and project JK stickers will show up.

Tbe wife and I are going to try and drive down sunday just for the day.

Sent while watching chicks get naked.

I might try to register. I will look into it this week.

Just looked at the site. You have to print the registration form out, neatly print everything, and mail it in by Aug 1st.

then they "randomly" pick 250 jeeps to do the crawl.

mailing mine tomorrow.

Im not doing the crawl. I will most likely head down friday after work.

Oh and i have no windshield banner :p

The beach crawl sounds like a lot of fun. It's basically 250 Jeeps all playing in the sand and from the videos I found it looks stocker friendly.

Just got off the phone with the Commander hotel, it is pretty much booked up. There are a few hotels near The Commander that have space according to Kayak.com & shouldn't break the bank too badly. I also looked up Frontier Camp (5+ miles away) and unless I'm mistaken, they want $50/night for a camp site for 2 people? That can't be right. I don't mind camping (as long as there are showers) but being near the location of all the events is probably a good idea for something like this imho.

Thoughts? The sooner we decide where to stay, the better our chances are of staying in the same place b/c let's face it... it's this group that's gonna make the trip fun!

Just heard from the organizers, they are accepting registrations by snail mail only. Nothing digital.

lol Nubs. Hooters is a fun atmosphere but the food blows......Do you guys not have Hooters our your end of MD?

We have one at the inner harbor but I hate going near Baltimore unless I have to. The wings are OK but the sites and cold beer is better
