I know this is early but we wanted to get it started and on the board so people can plan. We will be running the Rubicon Trail in early October. Please run through the info and let me know if you have any questions or you would like to join :thumb:
The Plan:
Meet up Thursday night Oct 1st and camp at Loon Lake. Get up early the 2nd and start the trail. We will be going at our own pace and camping along the trail. We will be playing on the Soup Bowl, Little Sluice, hike to Spider Lake, "Upper" Old Sluice and if time/willingness permits "Lower" Old Sluice, etc. Right now we do not plan on limiting the number of rigs but may have too for time.
Camp Spots:
"Estimated" camps spots are as follows: Night of the 1st - Loon Lake, 2nd - Buck Island Lake, 3rd - Rubicon Springs.
What ya need:
- Camping Gear
- Food and Water for your entire group for the entire trip
- Proper Clothing for weather
- Something to keep your trash in. You Haul it in, You Haul it out.
- Firewood - if allowed
- $15 cash for camping in Rubicon Springs. Typically they close Oct 1st but be prepared
