Hi everyone, I just got my new Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x12.5x17. I'm currently running 34psi cold right now, Nitto told me to run 25psi for daily driving. What's everyone running? Thank you!
Maybe don’t listen to random terrible information on other sites. All of the chalk test procedures I found said to start at the tire's rated max pressure stated on the side of the tire. Then go down in 3 PSI increments. The max pressure is something like 80 PSI! So maybe in an hour or two of decreasing pressure and driving forward and backward, the pressure should be in the ballpark of where it should be. Seems crazy to me.
The only reason why I looked is that it was suggested in this forum to look at other sites.Maybe don’t listen to random terrible information on other sites.
That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Was that from a White House press release? All of the chalk test procedures I found said to start at the tire's rated max pressure stated on the side of the tire. Then go down in 3 PSI increments. Maybe by the Secretary of Transportation. That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Was that from a White House press release?
It’s surprising how much better these vehicles handle when the tire is allowed to be in contact the road. What those guys said ^^^
I typically run mine at about 28
