New overheating issues after submersion

Alright so got the new tensioner and stuff installed. Sound is gone and the fan is running. However, I’m still having high temps but now it gets hot while driving and it cools at a stop. I’m stumped because it’s the exact opposite of what it was before. Any ideas?

Edit: so after a little run time, the fan runs only for a few minutes then quits at idle causing the temps go up. Fml. Only thing fixed is the sound.
