I know we answered this already but I was shocked over the weekend how easily the top popped off the upper ball joint and that part came out of the inside. The weight of the jeep must pull down on it somehow

Mass Air Flow Sensor!

Mass Air Flow Sensor!

Curious what prompted you to replace it?

Didn't replace it but if you recall, we've been having problems with our engine going into limp mode from time to time. We suspected that it could be from a dirty MAF sensor especially being that we did have a power steering leak near the pump. Of course, that leak was very close to the air intake and could have been the culprit. I fixed the leak, cleaned the sensor and hope that'll fix things for us.
