My Dozer

Did some research, I'm going to order new caps since I have a infinity sound system. Going with 10uf 100v. I'll post pictures and update. Johnny d was for a basic system. But they did improve quite a bit.

Sub went in perfect.

Grills on, these mids are a huge improvement. They have a tweeter also for the rear passengers.

I'm pretty impressed. That new sub with sound deadening material is a huge improvement. It's not going to shake the neighbors walls, but it a lot tighter sounding bass.
Ready to play my bieber on the trail.

Did you have to add an amp or additional EQ or just a speaker swap?

Just a speaker swap. These ones are for either the infinity or alpine. The tweeter mod is another story. I did some research and my infinity requires a different cap than the alpine or regular sound system.
I'm going to be honest, I would definitely say if it's not worth it. But the 70 bucks for the sub and I think 60 for the mids is really worth it. I'm sure even the poly fill and sound deadener in the sub is a nice little improvement. I just bought a 3 dollar pillow for the poly fill and you can find aluminum faced butyel or how ever you spell it at home depot.

Those little plugs make this pretty much a plug and play. I got everything from Amazon. Little father's day gift to myself.

Hmmm. Cool. I'm not dissatisfied with my stock, but I think I have a slightly upgraded system. Good to know there's an economical way to get better sound. Nice detail on the install too. 👍👍

Took my boys fishing today. Went to silver lake and cow creek reservoir. Had a good time. All the pictures I took.

Still not too bad. Bet it was a good time.

Yeah, really nice weather. Not the toughest trails, but fun.
I might be going up north, I keep hearing about this weston reservoir trail in the big horn mountains. People up there say it's rough, and expect body damage. Only pictures I can find.

If not that one, I'm going to try the Shoshone lake trail. That one looks good. You would think there would be tons of wicked trails out here, but I have no idea where to look. They are starting to close off roads because they don't want to maintain them. Or dick heads can't handle a little puddle and go around and mess up the vegetation. 1435724752123.jpg
Anyways, I'm thinking Colorado is the ticket for the harder trails.
