The kc would turn off intermittently. Kc blames it on their adapter harness and they sent me new harnesses a few times. They also warrantied both lights before as well. I went with the JW speaker because everyone that has them seems to love them and they look cool. I've always liked them but never wanted to pay the 800 or so that they were a couple years ago.

That yellow would annoy the hell out of me. Looks like the cheap Chinese lights you get on eBay.
 
Long day on the trail today. We did Elvis, Woodpecker, Lower Ajax, Jack Handle and the mini waterfall on Box Canyon.

The up and over tested the strength of the Evo tire carrier and showed me that i needed to move the hi lift jack further up.

In preparation for KMC Jeep Bash I started buffing out all the desert pin striping from the doors.

There wasn't any way to remove the scratches from the hardtop so I ended up repainting it.

I also decided on changing up the look of the front end by taking the poison spyder hood louvers down to bare aluminum.

I've been hearing a squeaking noise coming from the right front while turning left for a couple weeks. I had a friend look at everything while I would get it to make the noise. We figured it was the u joint in the axle shaft. My family got me Ten Factory shafts for my birthday. During the replacement process I decided to repaint the front axle.

After replacement while driving I was happy to find out that the noise was gone.

I had signed up my CJ for the jeep bash but I'm not going to be able to take :(

Haha yeah they were looking pretty rough before but after some sandpaper and a little wire brush they look great. Are you still going to jeep bash just without the CJ?
