Granted, I grew up during the 70's and I'm biased, but this was the greatest decade for music. The depth and quality in all of the genres was unprecedented.

The '60s were great too. Some of the best artists and songs come from the ''60s (with some continuing strong into the '70s, or even still today).

Yeah, for the most part I'd agree to that. If I was being super picky I'd say mid to late 60's

Yeah, ok, not really my cup of tea either, but I can appreciate a lot of the songs there. Tons of instrumentals that just aren't in todays music
