MOPAR - SEMA 2024

While I want to be excited that MOPAR decided to come back to SEMA, it's been really kind of a mixed bag of feelings for me. For one, I've always loved the brand and the vehicles they make and even when it comes to new body styling, I'm still pretty impressed especially with things like their all new 2-door Charger. However, this whole push for EV and hybrids... just leaves such a bad taste for me. Of course, when it comes to Jeep, what they've been bringing out to the show has been kind of on the embarrassing side and to the point that I don't even want to take pics of them. I mean, really?? That's the best you can do for a show like SEMA??

That said, here are 2 cars that I thought were beautiful and in spite of being EVs

Lost their way.
It's the leadership at Stellantis.

I should note, I got talking to an Italian guy who used to work for Chrysler back when Fiat took over it. Back then, he said it was really exciting especially being that Sergio was such a car guy. According to him, it was US rules and regulations and other baggage that made it impossible to do what he really wanted with brands like Jeep.

Not surprised one bit. Hopefully Orange Man will eliminate all that shit and America can get back to being badasses again in automotive.
