LUX Lighting Scam or Legit?

I started an order in Dec 2024 but left items in my shopping cart. I got an email from LUX reminding me I left items in my cart. I reply emailed them back and asked if they were still honoring the Black Friday discount the Eddie presented in a You Tube video, they informed that discount had expired.

Soon after LUX introduced an end of the year discount before they raised prices in January 2025, so I took advantage of that offer and placed my order Dec 31, 2024. I received a confirmation of my order but have never heard from them again.

I sent a couple emails about a change to my order shortly after making the order but never got replies.

Tried to send an email via their website but their "I am a human" verification through "Captcha" service does not function properly so I can't send them an email via their website. They don't list a phone number or a physical address all red flags of a fraudulent business.

Has anyone placed an order after Dec 31, 2024 an received the order product from LUX Lighting?

took a while to get mine, ordered November, did not get them until end of December.

I recall they were out of stock on my first attempt, and it took some time to get notified when they got them in stock.
 
I had them back when they first came out and they were great. I think they run a weird business now by not allowing the customer to contact them in any way shape or form. It's weird. I would probably look elsewhere just for that reason which is unfortunate because they are a really great product.
 
I ordered shortly before the end of the tear but they take a bit to get and/or email responses but you should be good!

I have Ahmad good experience with them, but I hear back orders are significant right now or at least have been

I’ve been waiting for the white ones to be in stock for a while. Since they’re fairly close, I’m thinking about applying for a job there and making them myself! 😂
Waiting for almost 8 weeks with no word from LUX and no way to contact them is too much for me. Bad or no customer service is not acceptable. I checked my CC invoice and see the $321 charge and also noticed a 800 number listed for LUX so I called. The number is a recording saying that the number can't be reach as dialed, so I re-dialed 2 more times, same recording. Too many red flags for me so I filed claim with CC company to have funds returned and take a wait and see what happens attitude. Think I'll go another route like maybe KC Hi-LiTES, the Cyclone V2 has an option for magnetic mounts which what sold me on the LUX lights. Thanks for all the replies, if LUX contacts me or comes through with the products I'll come back on here and announce the positive.

I def don’t like being charged for things if they aren’t going to ship for some time, sorry it’s been a problem.
 
Sorry to hear all the trouble you had with LUX and that you had to resort to filing a claim with your CC company. It's a shame they've been dropping the ball so bad lately because it didn't always used to be like this and they do make a good product.
Yes me too, I always like supporting small startups. It was my impression as well they were (or are) producing a good product. Maybe they need to re-prioritize their commitments and recognize that customer service and reputation are just as important as the quality of the product they produce. Whether I get my money back or not I hope they can fix issues and be successful.
 
It's really disappointing to see posts like this time after time with LUX Lighting.

From what I see, the future is not looking good for LUX Lighting. I wouldn't be surprised if they go tits-up any moment now.

Their website isn't updated, Facebook and Instagram only updated by customers, Better Business complaints - Unanswered (with an "F" rating,) Google and Yelp reviews - Terrible, Youtube videos are all from collaborations or influencers, company address and phone not easily accessible.

Don't feel bad for being persistent on getting your money refunded or reaching out to your bank to reverse the transaction. If he isn't answering customers, he's not answering the bank when they investigate your complaint.
