Locker Newbie - Looking for some "Words of Wisdom" on wheeling with lockers ...

True point. But before I switch everything around I was just researching and asking opinions. There seems to be some personal preference and the type of driving you do with your rig and set up.

A factory Rubicon is set up with lockers that REQUIRE you to engage the rear lockers FIRST before you can engage the fronts. If you were to buy an ARB and install it yourself, you would see that both the instructions and how the wiring harness is designed, you setup the switches to be AIR on first, REAR on second and FRONT on third. There seems to be some consistency in how Jeep and a manufacturer like ARB designs their products. I wonder why that is.

Honestly, there really shouldn't be a personal preference. There is a way that works best and that's why ARB has the switches set up the way they do.

I run ARB front and rear also. Like everyone said the harness is designed for rear to be locked first. However with a Lil bit if wiring you can a dd a jumper and have it where you can Lock either one independently. I did this to mine in case you was to have an issue with rear locker you can still use the front.
