LIX - Does Anyone Give a $hit?

I dunno. The only thing I didn’t like about the Jeep commercial was the dig at Bronco. To me, a move like that is what losers do to make them feel better about themselves.
I didn’t see it as a dig at Ford, if you listen to that part it said the “freedom to inspire”. Like inspired ford to bring back the bronco. I dunno but just watching it can be take as one.

Maybe it’s just me but why? What’s the point. If anything, I know for a fact that Bronco inspired Jeep to make the 392.

Like I always like to say, “hope” is just another way of saying, “wishful thinking”. Sadly, Stellantis is 100% committed to EV.

There is room for a 'ray of hope'...I flew up to Vegas just to attend CES meetings which were held at the T-Mobile Arena that Bose occupied the first few days of the show. Anyway during one of these meetings I had the chance to chat with a senior (nearly 30 years with the group through various ownerships) Stellantis rep who hinted we might see some new ICE engines, including V8's in the not too distant future!

*Back story: I went to these meetings as Bose recently purchased the McIntosh Group (McIntosh Labs & Sonus faber) high end home audio manufacturers which I have been involved with for over two decades. Bose obviously focuses on car audio and with their newly acquired brands displayed numerous makes of vehicles with Bose, McIntosh and Sonus faber designed audio systems...Including several from Jeep, hence the Stellantis reps presence.

I hope you’re right, I really do. I’ve been involved in this Jeep thing for quite a while and have more than a few friends that work there. From what I’ve come to learn, tooling for upcoming models are made 10 years in advance or more. Decisions for the future are even more long term and definitely not made based who the current president is. Currently, a lot of stock is being placed on EV for the foreseeable future.

I also hope the rep I talked with was right!
