For all the stuff they brought out to SEMA that I can't say I care for, I have to say that the Kymera that they made is actually really nice. It just screams SEMA build and I have to give them kudos for it.

I'd definitely mob it through the desert. Did they forget to remove the shackles on the front and rear axle housing for the haul to Sema [emoji848] they look out of place hanging there.

Okay - over at WARN and the big news is that they redesigned their VR series winches to be more like their Zeon's, they now come with a 7 year warranty and they're also cheaper than the previous line.

Was just checking these out and it looks like they are more expensive than the previous version by a couple hundred bucks but about 500 less than a zeon. For the 10s at least.

Edit I just found one that's about the same price. 770 for the vr10s

Do you think it is still worth it for about the same price to get the zeon10 than the vr10s?

Not too sure it's $500 difference. Maybe someone with knowledge of the two will know better. Other than usa vs where ever for the vr

If you have the budget, zeon all day long. Zeon-10s run around 1200 on average with everything included. You also could look into the m-series which is cheaper and still built in the USA. I've used my zeon 8 a handful of times with jeep fully loaded with family and tools with no issues at all.

The VR is import components, but still assembled in Oregon. They have upped the line speed and warranty tremendously. Seeing them in person, the new VR series is a big improvement over the previous generation. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that they're using a cast iron hawse fairlead with the synthetic line on the VR-S series winches. At the same pricepoint-ish, you're getting a faster line speed with the Zeon and a winch with mostly domestic parts and assembly, but keep in mind, that is with steel cable at the comparable pricepoints. Hawse fairleads and synthetic winchlines can be picked up relatively cheap and is an anytime upgrade.
