The quote of the day after going through some stuff a stock jeep had no business doing.

I think I did more belly damage when I was stock. This was the day we lifted it at two months old.

Here is my old TJ. This was about ten years ago. I didn't see the dip in the top of the rock - or how deep it was and hit it at a really bad angle. :doh:

Waitaminute! Appendix? WTF! I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago and have the same type of scars. Makes me wonder. What really pissed me off about it was I did not "lose" much weight. Apparently it does not weight much!

Haha I lost 10 dam pounds and the scares are because they did a lectroscopic or something like that

The surgeons may try to keep the scars similar for one very important reason.

If you have an abdominal pain and a doctor sees an abdomen scar, they will likely assume it is not the appendix, as a scar usually means it has been removed already.

If you are having gall bladder removal (cholectomy) or gall stone removal (cholecystectomy) the surgeon may elect to remove the appendix at the same time regardless of whether it is required, simply to avoid any future confusion, and possible septicemia from a rupture.
 
Mine are still pretty neat compared to everyone else. But here are mine after one trip to Moab, I think I came out pretty good since I was completely stock at the time

Ok, this giant gas tank dent was totally a surprise when it happened! Most of the others I knew were coming and continued anyway, but this one I was coming down off a big rock and rolled it up.... Smash!!!! Good times!
