With my vast knowledge of the subject I would say your probably right, but it was fun with Dee pulling down on the rear linkage,me sprawled out trying to get leveraged to push on the front rail and Joel pushing on the latch.:rolleyes: probably should have waited.lol

Finally cutting off my excess from the rear frame rails. One down so far might save the other side for another day. One coat of primer down so far.

I'm installing my EVO rear d-ring mounts. Have to make a run to lowes for a 7/8ths wrench to finish the middle bolt though.

now i see i deff should chop myne, guess ill take them off yet again lol.....at least its easy other than fighting with the bolt thats inside the frame each time to get it back on
 
Made it to lowes to pick up the wrench. Side one completely done!

Then figured out that I needed to do a little trimming to get the Trektop to fit with my bushwacker trail "armor"

Today was a very productive day! One side d-ring mount done. And Trektop installed!!

Debating if I should do the other d-ring mount today.. Next day off isn't until Monday..
 
go for it! mine as well since you have been on a roll today with the top and the one mount
