Joining the Jeep family Friday.

So I will have a new Rubicon unlimited on Friday. The Denver dealer is having it delivered from a sister dealership in Utah. Denver was only offering the employee pricing. I found 2 packaged as I wanted in Dallas for about $8k below sticker in April, but I thought i lost out on a deal when the discount disappeared. I went in to the Denver dealer Friday to look around, and they found the one I am getting, but only offered employee pricing of about $4400 off. I had to wait until after Saturday to commit because of a refi.

On Saturday, the Dallas dealer updated thier website with employee pricing discount and a $6k dealer discount. I went to the Denver dealer and asked if they could match. The salesman said he couldn't go beyond the employee pricing and I should jump on the Dallas deal. As I was about to call that dealer he called me and said his manager would match if I could give them a deposit. So went in, put down a deposit and got a firm out-the-door for my bank to give me a check.

After all this hassle, they not only matched, but had a lower price overall. The 2 Jeeps have the same options, but the Denver one has the active safety group, which i really didn't want. There is also $1,000 offer from stelantis I signed up for at the recent car show that will also be added.

Now I just need to sell the xterra.
