At least it made for some great pictures lol. I may or may not have taken off one of your shiny swaybar links while you were wedged.

Glad everyone could make it out and even better that everyone made it home in one piece.

Jay and Al nice to meet you guys and hopefully we hook up again soon. Great to see Steve again.

Thanks Russ for putting together another fun day.

Pretty tight to say the least with full width axles and a pretty severe undercut.

Steve going for the squeeze line.

Almost had it but the front fell in.
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1450737704.868137.jpg

The line looks easier and has more traction but if the front falls in, you're toast. No backing out without wiping out the drivers side and an undercut on the drivers rear with a point on the passenger rear the grabs a hold of the headlock.

Trying a strap on Steve.

Trying the big waterfall. A few hundred horsepower shy.

Eventually after a whole lot of crap, including Steve' Warn Powerplant dying, we went to a triple line, double snatch block with two anchors Jeeps and finally were able to recover Steve from the hole.

Moral of the story, when you go to places like Johnson Valley take at least three prepared rigs equipped with plenty of recovery gear and plan for extra time.

Awesome videos and pics Kristen thank you that last video is great wow I felt like I was going to spend he night there thanks Chris for all your rigging that was awesome brother by the way it was about 22,000lbs take off like 10% of friction off of each snatch block I believe is the right math it's been a long time
