JLU stock halpgen headlights to LED

So I currently have stock halogen headlights and want LED. Is this as simple as buying KC or mopar LED headlights and plugging them in?
 
Actually, it's even easier than that. You can just change out the bulbs to a set of LEDs. You can also change out the whole light assembly but most of the aftermarket options out there are only 7" lights.
 
JW speaker has a nice set , just make sure you get the wire adaptor tho. Be warned they are not the cheapest. but I have had great success with them .
 
I did the Mopar on my JT, super simple, I did need to use the tazer to get the halos to work, and i cant recall about the actual light. Dealer can flash that in as well from what i understand.
 
I just put a set of Oracle Oculus lights in. Less expensive than the Mopars and definitely brighter. No ECU flashing or Tazer updates needed. It’s a true 9” light. It has halos but I think they are too bright and look a bit silly. Might disconnect those.
