Actually, it's even easier than that. You can just change out the bulbs to a set of LEDs. You can also change out the whole light assembly but most of the aftermarket options out there are only 7" lights.
I did the Mopar on my JT, super simple, I did need to use the tazer to get the halos to work, and i cant recall about the actual light. Dealer can flash that in as well from what i understand.
I just put a set of Oracle Oculus lights in. Less expensive than the Mopars and definitely brighter. No ECU flashing or Tazer updates needed. It’s a true 9” light. It has halos but I think they are too bright and look a bit silly. Might disconnect those.
