DCD would take care of any issue without hesitation. And if they haven't yet it's because no one was notified of it or neither were they aware of it. In my opinion, the best thing to do in a situation like this is notify the shop that you had your work done at asap.

Is it possible that the silicone was placed there so water and other contaminants couldn’t get between the bracket and the frame and rust it out?

Bubba, I Chris Durham personally peeled the silicone from where the brackets should have been welded . I am currently having dinner with Eddie .

DCD is open from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and 10am-4pm Saturday. DCD would take care of any issue without hesitation. In my opinion, the best thing to do in a situation like this is notify the shop that you had your work done at asap. A shop that backs up their work would get on top of it and take care of things and whatever tech that would do a job like that, wouldn't be working at that shop any longer right after something like that gets discovered.

And for everyone else that gets all hot and bothered over a simple comment, sit down and relax. No one was bashed, or talked trash about anyone. So how about you guys drink a beer and let's let DCD take care of this issue if that's what needs to be done.

I call bs on the so call silicone job on the long arm brackets. Sound like someone is trying to point the finger to someone else! Lol

P.S. and as for supposedly calling Eddie dishonest, not once was his name mention or anyone else's.

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you even remember your own posts? Eddie posted about the silicone job and you “called bs” and claimed that “someone is trying to point the finger to someone else”.

People pay a chunk of their hard earned money to get high-end builds done. They shouldn’t have to rely on warranty work to weld on a bracket that should have been properly welded the first time.

We aren’t even talking about a bad weld...we are talking about someone doing something to make it look like there was a weld. (There is another name for that...it’s called fraud!)

This is the kind of shit that can have disastrous consequences for someone driving at speed or even running a hard trail.

If it was my Jeep, and I was positive about who did the work, I wouldn’t let the suspect shop touch a vehicle of mine ever again.

Any shop that used rtv to make it look like a difficult to weld area was welded, is a degenerate idiot who deserves to be blasted on social media. You certainly don’t get a 2nd chance.

^^^this 100%. It’s not just something you say “fuck it” to. Aside from the trail break, that could have been someone’s life. Going down the hwy at 75 mph would have certainly had far worse consequences than just a trail fix.

Total bullshit on their part. And the worst is the fact that if they did once on that vehicle, how many more vehicles are cruising around with their kind of bullshit work.

Not cool.

Exactly!!
I was there for the first/last time recently and there had to be 30 Jeeps in the lot.. It's scary how many rigs could be out there with potentially fatal flaws . I sure hope the word gets out
