1” more travel
Still have the stock sway bar in the rear on Jet correct?
That was a cool video. Both Jeeps looked great. That flex is amazing.
Negative. The JL bolt on coilover system yields about 4" MORE of vertical travel up front and about 5" in the rear. Night and day difference.
Eddie, what attributes to such an increase in travel? Is it just the shock stroke length?
Also, I may have missed it but how much lift did you end up with?
We have our JL set up at about 3.5" of lift.

Compared to a DTD, not a "bolt-on" JK coilover system.
Yup. It is the BEST :yup:
Thanks! Glad you liked it![]()
So what gains do you get if any with the JK bolt on coil over lift?
If you’re gaining only 1” with the DTD.
That is very impressive with the JL. I believe Someone mentioned it’s not worth it to dump all the money into a JK it’s better off to just get the JL and upgrade it.

My bad. Didn’t have my reading glasses on. EVO claims 12 inches.

Good condensed info, makes me want then even more lol.Okay, I double checked my notes and here's what I can tell you.
The EVO JK DTD System yields 14" of vertical travel front and rear
The EVO JK Bolt-On Coilovers offer about 12" of vertical travel up front and almost 11" in the rear.
The EVO JL Bolt-On Coilovers offer 15" of vertical travel front and rear.
That's about 1" more than a JK DTD offers.
It is also 3" more than a front JK bolt-on coilover and 4" more than a rear JK bolt-on coilover.
Does that makes sense?
What you gain with a JK bolt-on coilover system is bigger flex than you can get with most standard coil and shock setups and the ability to dial in your spring rates and valving to give you the ride you want.
