JK Rear Cargo Storage Solution

I just finished this for my JKU. Made up of 1/2” steel square tubing with aluminum skins to keep the weight down.

Nice!!!

Thanks, cheers!

I used my Covid stay-at-home time to make this cargo floor out of 3/4" plywood.

Wow that looks really clean. Cool sound holes and tie downs. Nice work.

I like that fridge too, haha. Don’t get me wrong about ARB. I own their twin compressor because it’s the best compressor. They make amazing quality products. I just don’t think their drawer is worth the money...for a drawer.

Built for under 4,000 dollars.
Eat your heart out ARB.

Shout out to ONDROX and his thread for the idea:

I made mine a little taller. Also wanted to add that I’m using two ratchet straps across the top that connect to the stock anchor points in the floor of the Jeep. Doesn’t move a bit.

I got a couple of these 5.11 Load Ready Gear bags... I can Easily fit a case of bottled water in one and I use the other for dry foods and snacks... It fits perfect on the back seat between the kids so they can grab stuff to eat. Good for carrying anything really.. and easy to strap down. I like those. I'm forever living out of Target bags and having loose bottles of water rolling around everywhere once a few are taken out. May have to look into those
