I couldn't get into the jk due to price point. But would have enjoyed the 4 door and newer options. But my first jeep I went with a 2006 rubicon LJ with 5.5 inch rubicon express lift long arm teraflex. ... I can still put my kids in the back safely and they even like the "roll up thing" that moves the window up and down....Boy have times changed....But as I'm learning to work on jeeps, I feel the LJ was the best starter for price while allowing the full function of the off road and fun. It's a new adventure for me and yes a new WAYALIFE
