Got the hitch and wiring harness in.

Also a rear JKS adjustable trackbar!!! All tuned in and axle recentered, and it matches the front one 😃👍

Haven't had a chance to log on for a while. After waiting nearly 2 months for my 35s, I finally got tired of it and called to get a different tire.

Asked for trail grapplers and turns out they're out of stock as well...

Pro comp xtreme mt2's it is! Hopefully they ship today!

And they're on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😊😃

Have been so busy lately and really wish I could be more active on the forum, life happens though.

In recent news I ordered some mall crawler mods - some red screw shackles for the bumpers and some fancy red ARB diff covers for the front and rear. Oh and A license plate relocation deal to move the plate to the spare tire!

I actually have gotten the chance to do some mild wheeling and test the 35s out, with this Quadratec brand 2.5" lift. Surprisingly even with the front swaybar disconnected I have no rubbing issues with the factory fender flares. Tires at full stuff hit the bumpstops and I have about 1/8-1/4 inch clearance at the closest point, close but for now I don't have to buy new flares for a while!

I'm a fan of lower rigs with more downtravel, it handles great down the road the way it sits, and my driveshaft angles are healthier than if I lifted higher... on a side note, it still sucks when my jeep looks tiny sitting next to anything with a 4" lift and the same size tires but I guess function over form right haha?

License plate relocation = Done. Used a warrior products mount. It seemed good quality, although on the new plate bracket I had to drill out the hole that the license plate light's wires go through so they didn't get pinched and short. Other than that pretty happy with it!

And here we have it, some freshly trimmed fender flares. Have to admit I was worried at first but it came out much better and alot easier than I had expected.

I taped off my lines and used a jigsaw with a really fine tooth metal cutting blade.

After I got done I filed the high spots, slightly rounded the edges, then I grabbed the soldering iron and drug it across at an angle, and made everything smooth and every little saw mark dissappear.

Finished the day by taping off and painting all the newly exposed body underneath the flares black so everything blends a little better.

Thanks for the great write-ups guys! Couldn't have done it without the information on this forum 😀👍

Not sure if I ever posted about my scale rc hobby on here, but I'm finally making some progress! Really happy with how close the color turned out.

Haven't been on in a long time, works been unbelievably busy and I really just haven't gotten around to doing anything with the jeep other than driving to work and the occasional trail stretch.

However, I did just order a body mounted spare tire carrier! It was between the genright and poison spyder (I know, I know, grill me for it now - but I just dont like the way the evo looks ha) I went with the Poison Spyder one. It seemed to be a little bit beefier than genright, and I really liked the idea of internal gussets and plates tying everything together inside the body corner on the driver side. Also the cambolts seemed better than a slotted hole for alignment purposes as well imho.

But anyways I'll post some pics when it comes in and hopefully get a warm day to paint and install it!

Your jeeo is looking nice and like the RC car tii. I'd like to know what you think about the PS carrier, because I'm thinking about that one. Thanks!
