Jeep got banged up

I can't believe they didn't total it out. Normally when something structural is damaged they deem it a lost cause.

Haha yea it got pretty fucked up lol. The hard top and window frame is what's gonna cost me the much so far to replace

Glad you are alright but I thought I was coming in this thread seeing some trail damage not a Jeep on its side lol.

Last year I was rebuilding a salvage and had to replace that rear qtr. There are many pieces to it. Before I decided to sell the project I was looking into just replacing the whole tub. Used tubs are around $1000-1200 back when I looked. All the new mopar replacement panels are darn close to that if it got into floor etc

Go to car-part.com which is an online directory for salvage yards. Search for "rear clip". That is what they classify the tub as on a JK.

I'll check it out thanks

It wasnt a total loss? looks like a lot of labor to fix that stuff to me...

It was a total loss. But I'd rather fix it then buy a new one, this way my jeep is paid off and fixed plus my dad is a paint and body man so it won't be to bad

Wow! That crash was a stemwinder! Glad everyone is OK and you're gonna rebuild. All the best.:thumb::thumb:

I am amazed that it wasn't totalled (or that you didn't fight to get it totalled.) A dude on another forum has his totaled, and it was a 2012 with less damage than some guys get on JKX. Glad you are ok though.

*EDIT* Just read your followup posts, I see that it was totaled. It may cost you a fair amount more money in labor costs to fix this thing than it would to get a brand new one and swap everything over.
