Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler - SEMA 2024

Not sure who this CJ-8 Scrambler belongs to or who they're showing it off for but it is the first Jeep I've seen roll in to the show. I should note that it is running 40" Toyo MTs and ridding on top of a pretty cleanly done spring over axle lift. And, other than the hood, most of it still looks pretty stockish, down to the old school red shock boots and that's always kinda cool to me.

Agreed. Real shame they threw on that nasty hood and the wheels just scream pavement princess but then, this is SEMA.

Nice work, it’s a show piece, which is fine if that’s what your into, it’s in its element at SEMA.

LOL - well, that too but I think the overall look would have been nicer if they tried keeping to the classic paint and decal theme. Maybe something that was a little more old school looking.

I’m not usually into colors like that, but I actually like the color scheme. Proper half doors would look nice.

I like it and would totally drive it. It’s nicely restored but too tall though.

A 3link front and a 4 link rear with some 14” KINGS would really be rad under that.
Still pretty cool despite the hood.

It’s not that bad looking. I agree though needs different wheels.
