it's a GREAT morning indeed

What bothers me is the ballot splitting. Why would someone vote for Trump and then vote for the democrat senatorial candidate? If you like Trump, wouldn't you vote for the senate candidate that shares his policy views? Why vote for the democrat who clearly stands against him? Blows my mind.
I think it has more to do with people not agreeing with every extreme end of policy, many more central right/central left people in this country than living in the extreme end’s, one way or the other. Doesn’t always make sense but people proved they wanted change but maybe not maximum change, challenge then becomes the bog down in congress to effect some change.

I had hoped that RFK Jr would be Trump’s choice for CIA director, however it is probably better that he focus on the Nation’s health and cleaning house in that arena since that is his passion.

The great news is that it appears that Trump has an equally or perhaps better person picked out to be the Agency director. Kash Patel. If you are not familiar with him you should be, he is an excellent choice and fully understands that environment. Here are a couple of places to learn more about him.

This has the potential to be once in a lifetime epic.

How can that be? Trump is a racist and white supremacist. No way he can put in a non white.

Intelligent voters are capable of more than one dimensional thinking.

It takes time to gain seniority in either party and those with seniority call the shots and get most of the speaking time. Freshmen have no power.

When deciding if the person holding office should be replaced, it is wise to be aware of the actual policies and positions that they support.

Replacing a senior member who has a record of votes supporting what you care about with a powerless freshman who starts out with just a 'vote' based only on party is kind of stupid.

So, here at SEMA, they have a thing called The Loop and it's essentially a tunnel and transportation system developed by Elon Musk's Boring company and run by them. One one of our rides through it, a Chinese gal (and I mean, from China with broken English) started talking to the driver, a young white guy probably in his 20's and asked him about working for Tesla and in the conversation, the guy was saying how about half the drivers quit their jobs on Wednesday. You know, because of Trump winning the election and Musk's support of him. He was saying that it was good for him because a lot of shifts opened up for him and that meant more work. She then asked why he didn't quit and he told her, well, because he liked and voted for Trump. She literally looked dumbfounded and that pretty much ended the conversation. I don't know why but the whole exchange was really satisfying to hear :)

I should also note, Trump winning the election is all that everyone is talking about at the show LOL
Is it a Woke atmosphere ? You would think that all the leftist policies that hurt the industry would shift peoples focus and sway them to some common sense - but they are like livestock that love their butcher.

LOL - not in the Off Road Hall. Hell, not even really anywhere else except for maybe Mopar or where they're showing off all the new EV shit.

That's awesome to hear that exchange!
Last night my wife just told me about Elon's Boring company. She is in the aggregate business and she told me that his Boring company idea was thought of while he was sitting in LA traffic and that his tunnel boring machine can now bore a mile a day. I thought that was pretty cool.

It makes you wonder, right?
It’s amazing how many individual's voting habits do not align with their lifestyle. A great example is the young socialist Bernie voter typing away on their apple device in a Starbucks while wearing a Che t-shirt while their Tesla is parked out front. 🤔
