Kooks headers sounds great on LS applications! Couple speeds shops next to me that use kooks on a lot of their builds.
I agree!! The Kooks sound awesome. I love my combo of the Kooks and the 3" in and out Black Widow Venom 250. A little on the loud side for some but I love it.
What muffler you going to run?
Thanks. But the whole thing started just trying to not have a dead battery every third day, or the engine fall out on every trail, or the cooling system to nuke itself every cruise to the donut shop.
Any added power will just be a pure awesome bonus.

Have you ever considered an in cab kill switch for power from the battery?...I also have power draw in my Hellcat...we put in some big relays and a kill switch; not only solved the power draw problem, but nice to have in a flip or roll...
I’ve installed them on a few JK swaps including mine. A major factor in why I haven’t tried selling my JK is because it sounds so much better with them lol. Not to mention we gain significant increases in horsepower over short tube headers when installing a cam at the same time.

I sure liked the sound of yours when I heard it.
How is it at highway speed?
Yes. I just hate how disconnecting resets radio presets etc. It is something that would probably happen if I continue past this stage and want to keep throwing burning piles of cash at it in another round of upgrades.
I mostly stream music so radio presets doesn’t bother me...mine usually sits for 30 days before I can fire her up, so this was a good solution for battery drain.
Would a dual battery setup like a genesis work with an isolator between the batteries? Have all the accessories on the aux bat and the harness on the primary. When it dies, the aux battery can be used to jump the primary. Doesn’t solve the problem, but it could be a work around to keep them starting.

But I bet that mirror was nice and dim by the time the batt tapped outWhat would be nice is to have a harness that can’t draw a brand new deep cycle battery dead as door nail in 2 days only for the harness manufacturer to end up blaming the “Jeep factory review mirror auto dimmer”. Yeah, seriously.
Had this years ago with the stock engine. It was garbage and caused more problems. It never once worked right. I think I wrote about it here and I’d have to find it to remember exactly but I think there was a 80amp option and a 200. I had the 80a and like I said it never worked. I know some guys who had the 200a that seemed to have fewer issues.

You mean the rear view mirror I don’t have and yet, still have a draw? Lol

Seems like a pain to continue to deal with. So would you still recommend a V8 swap even if they have tons of issues? I’ve been waiting for the LT-1/8L90E swap to get all the kinks out.
