Inspect your teraflex brackets

Don't forget to inspect your teraflex long arm brackets on a regular basis.
Both sides were cracked in the same spot. Time to call Tera flex.
I have heard they have a redesigned bracket.

That looks like the rear upper bracket...? They have had a gusset kit out for it for a few years.

You'll either need to have the bracket replaced or repaired.

I will probably gusset the back while I am at it.

All these stories of people TF products breaking just piss me of (I dont have any TF stuff) but to think that a company that charges good money for a crappy product that let alone doesnt last but is down right unsafe for drivers and owners!

LOL! brankz has come a long way in his spelling. still isnt the greatest in the world but its funny cause we all know what he means by now.

Unfortunately, this is a common problem with TeraFlex long arm kits and even with the updates, people still break them. It is one of the biggest reasons why I no longer recommend them. Here is a link to more breaks:

It scares me each time I see a teraflex thread. It's sad to see how much they are popular in my neck of the woods. A lot of shop only swear by them...

Anyway, I have a set of front speed bump. Newest generation to date, anything I should expect on this product yet lol ?

That's because most shops will push what they have in stock so that they can make the sale or push what they can make the most profit on. One of the main reasons why I do what I do for a living now is based on the fact that I stopped trusting what shops swear by.

They are still just a piece of foam in a can and I wouldn't expect a whole lot out of them. Back when I was still running them, I found them to be really annoying as they tapped on my bump stop pads and negatively influenced the quality of my ON PAVEMENT ride.

ah crap, I broke my front one too. I had my bracket repaired and re-welded back in with some additional gussets. Who knows how long it will hold. I already know what I will replace it with when it breaks again.
