In with the new/out with the old

Hey everyone i have no idea if this on this forum or not but i thought i'd go ahead and start it anyway. The topic is what you expect in the newer jeeps and what you want to see in the newer ones (in with the new) and what you wish chrysler would replace or make better (out with the old)

I'll go ahead and start it off.

I wish they'd: Have the cummins 4bt, the hemi, or the 6 cylinder cummins as the only engine options. Have dana 60 rokjoks as a stock option with all of the gearing options and stuff from the company that sells them aftermarket for jeeps. Have a truck model like the j8 and the brute or work with aev and if you want the brute then you could build your jeep to your liking on either website and they'll send the jeep over to aev to become a brute. And a few other things.

Out with the old: I wish they'd get rid of the 3.6l and 3.8l v6 entirely. Get rid of the front dana 30 on the non-rubi models and put dana 44s front and rear

Only problem is jeeps hardcore enthusiast maybe is max 10% of the market. For the other 90 everything they have works for them. And you will never see a stock Dana 60 first because it's overkill for anyone under 40s and 2 because they are getting hounded for weight and mpg. Your ideas are cool not something I'd ever see stock though

Yeah it's a little over-kill but i'd rather have it on stock so if i have the money i can just put the lift on and 40's as soon as i get it without having to upgrade to the dana 60s first

I just want a longer wheel base 2 door, if I ever can save up Im going to do the jkl conversion if I stay on the east coast due to fender laws limiting a stretch.

Def would like to see a longer wheelbase as well, dana 44 axles up front on all models, and 35s on rubis. I love the 3.6, but would like a hemi/diesel option as well.

I think there are a lot of things that we all wish Jeep would change and aside from major things like the motor or things of that sort I am a huge fan of the motto "built not bought". I think that that is what makes and defines us as "jeepers". Everything that we do to our jeeps is in a sense our own personal style. I would much rather look at what other people have done to make their jeeps as cool as they are rather than what Jeep and MOPAR have done to make everyone's jeep the same.

Agreed but I wouldn't mind taller gears

I would not want to see Jeep with factory 60's. Can you imagine what that option would cost..... ouch. You could upgrade to 60's and get new rims and tires and still be less than what factory 60's would cost.
