Yea I think I will just stick with the 3.73. As much as I’d love more gear it’s certainly not needed and doesn’t seem worth the risk based on that.
I wouldn't let this completely scare you away from a re-gear. This customer gets pretty wild and rough on his rig and I'm pretty sure he was in a spot where most of us would have chose better options. NO differential is immune to breaking under certain circumstances.

That’s good to know, I obviously weight the security higher but your right, anything can break if your doing to much in a bad spot, my dad can do my gears so it’s just parts, but is also know how much smaller the gears get so I’ll just keep flip flopping in my brain lol.

I mean, if its a "safety concern", you might have to tell the wife you need full float 60's. You just can't chance breaking gears with the kids in the Jeep...I don't make the rules.
