In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

PSA: If you are going to use stupid wheel locks like the ones from MOPAR, KEEP THE KEY IN YOUR VEHICLE!! If you don't, KNOW WHERE IT IS!!

The end
Always leave mine in the cup holder when the vehicle is dropped off. I also always pick up nails & screws I see on the ground… and always return my cart … Pretty sure I’m going straight to Heaven when the time comes.

Haha, the Mopar ones are a bitch to break off too for sure 😂
don't know if they make them different not, but the ones I had were made with an outer shell which I cut off with a dremel then used a slightly undersized socket "persuaded" onto what was left and off they came.

This style doesnt always work on the factory mopar sets. Mopar is gay and uses a spinning outer ring that prevents this style from working properly. I personally use an air hammer to get them off lol
Yea that spinning outer ring is a bitch.
Years ago I left the key on my fender flare and drove off. I went to the techs at the dealership and they had like 30 different keys from different VINs and not one of them fit.

I tried all kinds of ‘universal keys’ to no avail.

When I swapped out my stockers for beadlocks, I cut the locking lugs off with a cutoff wheel. Destroyed the stock rims and threw ‘em in the trash.

Oh yeah the JK ones are wild… the outer shell spins and spins and I remember having to work it back over itself with a slightly oversized socket and hammer until I could get enough of a grip on the end with a wheel lock breaking socket.
